![]() ![]() So in order to have space for more beacons, then use underground pipes as well, so that the surface will be free and clear to put beacons. Obviously that could speak to the size of my base, but at least it makes it okay for the base.Īlso I see you have production modules, but replace those with speed modules, and since your pump jacks are a little bit spread out, you could actually probably surround them with more beacons. Put in some speed 3 modules and put some speed 3 modules in beacons as well and surround all those pump jacks with as much speed as you can and see if that helps your base.Īfter doing that, my crude oil storage tanks are still pretty constantly full of around 25,000 of crude oil, fed only by those depleted oil fields that I got to first, without adding any additional oil drilling locations. So I can't say if maybe the positioning of the pump jacks was okay and the beacons help them all but I can at least recommend you to try that as well. ![]() ![]() I didn't even need to go tap another oil patch. Heavy oil is only used to make lubricant. I thought I put in speed module as well but maybe they were not speed module 3, because I definitely don't remember getting up to level three.īut in my current game, after my oil patches got drained, I decided to try something else which was I put speed module 3 in the pump jacks and I surrounded them as much as I could with beacons and suddenly the same oil patch has been feeding my base for the last two or three weeks without any problems, even after it got drained. Light oil is used to make solid fuel which can be used for power, fueling vehicles, and trains and light oil and solid fuel are used to make rocket fuel which you will also need a great deal of especially if you continue to play the same factory after your first rocket launch. I had to go tap another oil field to feel like I was getting a sufficient amount. I'm not sure what happened but in my previous game I also felt like the oil fields dried up and I couldn't get much out of them after that. ![]()
